Other methods

Biological treatment technology: the use of microbial metabolism, degradation of organic matter in the sludge, reduce the volume of sludge, reduce water content. This method is environmentally friendly and sustainable, but requires a long processing time.

Add quicklime: quicklime can chemically react with the moisture in the sludge to generate calcium hydroxide, thereby reducing the moisture content of the sludge. However, it should be noted that the amount of lime added needs to be strictly controlled to avoid adverse effects on subsequent treatment.
