In the process of treating sludge dehydration, do you have this phenomenon of sticky filter cloth

In the process of dewatering the treated sludge, the phenomenon of sticky filter cloth does appear. There are many reasons for sticky filter cloth in the sludge dewatering process, mainly including the following aspects:

Equipment problem:

Filter press type: Different types of filter press (such as plate and frame filter press, belt filter press, etc.) may cause the filter cloth to adhere to the sludge during the dehydration process due to improper design or operation.

Filter cloth selection: Improper selection of filter cloth material, aperture size, etc., may lead to poor filtration effect, high water content of filter cake, and thus adhere to the filter cloth.

Filter cloth cleaning: the filter cloth cleaning is not clean or the cleaning pressure is low, which may lead to clogging of the filter cloth and affect the dehydration effect.

Pharmaceutical problems:

Agent selection: For different sludge properties, different coagulants and flocculants should be selected. Improper selection of agents may lead to poor coagulability and flocculation effect of sludge, high moisture content and easy adhesion to filter cloth.

Dosage of agent: insufficient or excessive dosage of agent may lead to poor sludge dewatering effect. The flocculation effect of sludge is poor when the dosage is insufficient. When overdosed, the sludge may become too viscous and easily clog the filter cloth.

Sludge properties:

Fineness, viscosity and organic content of sludge will affect its dewatering performance. When the sludge is too fine, too sticky or the organic content is too high, the surface and interstitive water are difficult to fall off, resulting in high water content of the filter cake and easy adhesion to the filter cloth.

Operation problem:

Improper setting of operating parameters (such as pressure, time, etc.) during dehydration may also cause the filter cloth to adhere to the sludge.

In order to solve the problem of sticky filter cloth in the sludge dewatering process, the following measures can be taken:

Optimize equipment selection: Select the appropriate filter press and filter cloth according to the nature of sludge and dehydration requirements.

Strengthen the filter cloth cleaning: clean the filter cloth regularly to ensure that the surface of the filter cloth is clean and non-clogged.

Reasonable selection of agents: Through the experiment to determine the best coagulant and flocculant types and dosage.

Adjust sludge properties: Improve the dewatering performance of sludge by adding conditioning agents.

Optimize operation parameters: Adjust the pressure, time and other parameters in the dehydration process according to the actual operation.

In summary, sticky filter cloth is a common problem in the process of sludge dewatering, but this problem can be effectively solved by optimizing equipment selection, strengthening filter cloth cleaning, reasonable selection of agents, adjusting sludge properties and optimizing operation parameters.
